This page explains what we collect, what we do with it, and — more importantly — what we don't do. If anything here isn't clear, please write to us and we'll rewrite it.

What we collect

Your email address, and a record of which practices you've played. For purchases, payment is handled by Stripe; we receive a token, never your card details.

What we never collect

Location, contacts, photos, health data. No Facebook pixel, no advertising trackers.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) with IP anonymisation to understand, in aggregate, which pages people visit and how the site is performing. We do not use it to build profiles, remarket, or sell your behaviour to anyone. You can block it with any standard content blocker.

Retention & deletion

If you delete your account, everything goes within seven days. Write to us and we'll remove your data and confirm when it's done.

Children

Dear Butterflies is for adults in a committed relationship. We do not knowingly accept accounts from anyone under 18.
